Looking for a unique way to bond with your team or simply enjoy a crafty morning or afternoon with friends? Our group workshops are the perfect blend of creativity and fun! Running for 3 hours, we bring the knitting party to you—setting up all the machines and providing the materials right in your chosen space.

Loré Loré’s very own knitting hands Lorena, will guide your group through a few basic knitting techniques, ensuring everyone walks away with their very own knitted goodie. It’s the perfect way to spend time together, with plenty of moments for socialising, laughter, and of course, crafting your masterpieces. So, gather your crew, and let the knitting fun begin!

Our group workshops are available across the Melbourne region. If you're located in outer metropolitan areas, please inquire via the "Additional Comments or Questions" section when booking, and we'll work with you to accommodate your needs.

Pick your favourite from three fun and beginner-friendly machine knitting workshops:
A two-tone headband, a knitted scrunchie, or a pom pom neck warmer. Each 3-hour session is designed for first-timers to get a feel for the craft while enjoying a relaxed, social setting with friends or peers.

Knitted Headband Workshop

    This hands on workshop will get you straight onto a knitting machine experimenting with a few key techniques to get you started on your own headband creation. By the end of the workshop you’ll be returning home with your very own headband crafted by you!

    Ideal for bigger groups, this workshop dives into the world of machine knitting. Participants will take turns between getting into the nitty-gritty of machine knitting, creating the base of their projects, and some fun crafting of pom poms. By the end, everyone will have crafted their very own Pom Pom Neck Warmer to take home!

Knitted Scrunchies Workshop

    Enjoy a creative experience filled with crafting and warm company. Whether you’re a knitting newbie or a seasoned pro, this workshop is designed for everyone. We’ll guide you through the basics of machine knitting and by the end, you’ll walk away with your very own crafted scrunchie.

Terms & Conditions

    • Our workshops are suitable for persons aged 12 years or older.

    • Full payment is required to confirm and secure your group workshop booking. Your booking is not considered final until payment has been received.

    • If we ever need to cancel your workshop (for example, if the facilitator is unwell), you’ll receive a full refund.

    • If you need to cancel or reschedule:

      • You can request a refund up to 7 days before your workshop. A small AU$50.00 admin fee applies.

      • Prefer to reschedule or receive a credit note? You can do that for free up to 7 days before the workshop.

      • If you reschedule less than 7 days before the workshop, a AU$20.00 admin fee applies.

    • If someone in your group can’t make it, we recommend finding a friend to take their place. We’re unable to offer refunds for cancellations within 7 days of the workshop.

    • Our group workshops need at least three (3) participants to go ahead.

    • When you book a group workshop, we reserve that date just for you. We totally understand that unexpected things can happen, and we’ll do our best to work with you — within the boundaries of these terms.

    • We’ll need about 30 minutes to set up and pack down the machines before and after your workshop. Please make sure we can access the space accordingly.

    • Each knitting machine needs about 1.5 metres of table space and a chair. If you don't have enough tables, just let us know — we can bring trestle tables if needed. (Example: For 6 participants, we’ll need space for 3 trestle tables.)

    • We sometimes take photos during workshops to share the fun and creativity! If you’d prefer not to be photographed, just let us know.

    • Confirmation of your workshop booking indicates your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
