Private one-on-one sessions with Lorena are built entirely around you: your goals, your questions, and your current experience level. Whether you're curious about machine knitting before taking the plunge and buying your own, troubleshooting a machine you already own, or looking to push your skills further, there's a session for where you're at.
All machines are provided in the studio, including Singer and Brother models across standard, mid gauge, and bulky, so you can trial the craft or work across different gauges to expand what you're capable of making. Prefer to bring your own machine? You're welcome to.
Lorena holds a Bachelor of Textile Design (majoring in knit construction) and a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, and has been working with knitting machines for over 20 years. She loves sharing that knowledge and making it genuinely accessible, whatever stage you're at. Learn more about Lorena →
Sessions start at a minimum of 3 hours, enough time to explore techniques, troubleshoot, experiment, and ask everything you've been wondering about. Available face-to-face in Melbourne, or live via Zoom from anywhere.

Our workshops are suitable for persons 12 years or older.
You may be photographed during your workshop. Photographs may be used for promotional purposes on our website and/or social media platforms. Please inform workshop facilitator if you prefer not to be photographed.
Loré Loré reserves the right to cancel any scheduled workshop should a workshop not reach the minimum number of students or the workshop facilitator falls ill.
In the unfortunate circumstance of a workshop being cancelled, students will be notified at least 2 days before the commencement of the workshop and an option of a full refund or credit note will be offered.
If you are unable to attend your workshop, please let us know within four days of your workshop and we can reschedule your booking or provide you a credit note to be used at a later date. No refunds will be issued for cancellations when less than four working days’ notice is given.
Confirmation of your workshop booking indicates your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

If the workshop facilitator cancels the class you are entitled to a full refund.
If you cannot attend the class
A refund can be requested 4 days before class starts. An admin fee of AU$50.00 applies.
A reschedule/credit note can be requested 4 days before the class starts. Free of charge.
Rescheduling after these specified times will incur an admin fee of AU$20.
It is your responsibility to maintain the availability of your schedule to accommodate your prearranged private workshop booking. The workshop facilitator has specifically reserved the booking date for your use. While we acknowledge the potential for unforeseen disruptions, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate unexpected changes within the confines of our terms and conditions.
